Partners & schools

Together, partners keep our work free.

Project Access Austria works with schools, universities, companies, foundations and private supporters. Partners provide funding, expertise and reach. Schools mainly help us inform students directly about our free support, mentoring and bootcamp.

Why partnership

Educational opportunities take many hands.

Private guidance on international university applications often costs several thousand euros. Project Access Austria provides comparable guidance free of charge, through students and alumni of international universities, an annual application bootcamp and short school visits across Austria. Sponsorship, network access and schools that host information visits make this possible. A partnership is a concrete way to support educational opportunity.

Our reach

Who we reach together.

77% of our alumni return to Austria on average for internships or full-time employment.
320+ participants across 7 bootcamps.
76.9% average applicant success rate in the 2017-2021 impact survey data.
720+ people reached yearly through events and seminars.

Forms of support

How partners contribute.

Funding

Fund the bootcamp, mentoring and outreach.

Sponsorship covers accommodation, meals, materials and travel costs, so applicants can take part regardless of family budget.

Expertise

Perspectives from study and practice.

Mentors, alumni and selected specialists occasionally share their experience, for example at the bootcamp, in Q&As or through contacts with universities and scholarship programmes.

Spaces

Spaces for selected formats.

Universities, companies and other partners can contribute rooms or organisational support for selected events. School collaborations usually consist of short information visits on site.

Reach

Access to schools, alumni and funders.

A shared network brings our free programmes more quickly to applicants who do not yet know about them.

Working with us

Partners from education, industry and the public sector.

A selection of organisations that have supported Project Access Austria in recent years, for example as sponsors, through network access, school contacts or the bootcamp.

From a partner

We at McKinsey are deeply convinced that more diverse teams perform better. Besides gender and ethnicity, socio-economic background is a key dimension along which we as a firm work hard every day to become more diverse and inclusive. It's our pleasure to support an organisation like Project Access, which makes sure that only talent and passion determine someone's path in education, rather than the socio-economic background.

School partnerships

Short information visits for schools.

Many students only learn late that free support exists for applications to international universities. In a school collaboration, Project Access Austria visits the school, briefly presents its programmes and explains how mentoring and the bootcamp can help.

  • Short visit in a class, information event or small group.
  • Overview of Project Access, mentoring and the bootcamp.
  • Time for questions and simple information to share.
